FGPN Counselling Service

The FGPN Counselling Service provides short-term counselling for people aged 16 years and over who present to their regular GP with a mental health problem, but are unable to access private psychological services.

Referral Process
You can only be referred to the Referred Counselling Service by a GP who is practicing within the Fremantle GP Network region.

Cost
You are asked to pay a co-payment of $10 or $30 per session, which is determined by your GP. If this creates financial hardship please speak to your GP.

Appointments
50 hour-long counselling appointments are available weekly. Seven Allied Health Professionals with counselling qualifications deliver these services in ten local general practices throughout the Fremantle GP Network region.
