Finance Coordinator

Looking to work for a company that improves the health of the community and encourages a culture of teamwork and development? Fremantle GP Network (FGPN) is a not-for-profit organisation based in East Fremantle that delivers primary health care programs to the community and provides support services to General Practice.

 We are currently seeking the services of a motivated, self sufficient and pro-active individual who is committed to driving the development and maintenance of quality financial processes and best practice.
 This is a varied role that will be ideal for an experienced, highly skilled individual who can organise the day to day financial administrative duties, accounts processing and maintain effective and well organised finance procedures. This includes processing of FGPN’s:
·               Accounts payable;
·               Accounts receivable;
·               Bank reconciliations;
·               Fortnightly payroll processing; and
·               General ledger reconciliations.

The successful applicant will ideally have:
·               Knowledge of project accounting;
·               MYOB experience;
·               Proven record in undertaking monthly book-keeping reconciling bank accounts and dealing with grant acquittals; and
·               Experience liaising with auditors at year end.
Knowledge of the not-for-profit sector will be viewed favourably.
A competitive salary is offered in the range of $53,000 - $62,000 plus super with salary sacrificing opportunities.

Fremantle GP Network (FGPN) is a not-for-profit organisation based in East Fremantle that delivers primary health care programs to the community and provides support services to General Practice. An important role of the organisation is to improve access to general practice for the community.

These positions will focus on working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, their families and health professionals in order to:
·         Improve access to culturally appropriate primary health care services; and
·         Educate and promote culturally secure chronic disease management to the community and primary health care service providers.
The ideal candidate will have:
·         The ability to effectively engage with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, primary health care services and general practice;
·         Good interpersonal skills, including demonstrated liaison and networking skills;
·         The ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team;
·         Have relevant qualifications and/or experience in primary health;  and
·         A general understanding and awareness of Indigenous health issues, primary health care and general practice.
A competitive salary is offered in the range of $52,000 - $60,000 plus super with salary sacrificing opportunities.
