Kick a Goal for Men's Health by Having a Check-Up with your GP 26/5/10
In the lead up to Men's Health Week 2010 (14-20 June), the AFL Coaches Association in conjunction with the General Practice Networks across the country are promoting the importance of health checks for men. Fremantle GP Network (FGPN) is playing its part, as a member of the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN), by coming together with the Fremantle Dockers to urge men to visit their GP during men's health week for a yearly check-up.

Budget will deliver health care future 12/5/10
Patients will be the big winners from the Federal Budget commitments to fund more Practice Nurses, put money into eHealth and invest in better access to afterhours care, says Fremantle GP Network Chair Dr Graham Farquhar. FUN RUN FOR FREO STREETDOCTOR 3/3/10
Fremantle GP Network is pleased to announce that the Fremantle Heave Ho Hash House Harriers & Harrietts, a Fremantle based social running group, have kindly made another donation in excess of $2000. The money was raised during an invitation run through Fremantle on 10th February, 2010. This has become an annual event in which they participate dressed as doctors and nurses with the proceeds going to the FREO StreetDoctor.

R U OK? COULD SAVE A LIFE 23/11/09

Might be a lifesaver for someone living with depression or anxiety, just reaching out could have a significant impact,¿ says Fremantle GP Network (FGPN) CEO Ms Christa Riegler. A national day of action has been launched in Australia this year. R U OK? Day on 29 November aims to raise awareness of, and assist in preventing, suicide.

FGPN partnership to run new Cockburn GP Super Clinic 31/8/09
The Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, and the Federal Minister for Health, Nicola Roxon, announced today that a new $6.5m GP Super Clinic is to be established in Cockburn. This new GP Super Clinic will be run by a partnership which includes Fremantle GP Network (FGPN) and the City of Cockburn. The clinic will be located in the Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre precinct.

FREE HPV VACCINE EXTENSION MEANS MORE LOCAL WOMEN WILL BE PROTECTED 17/2/09
Young women in Fremantle, Melville and Cockburn can now access the cervical cancer vaccine for free until the end of the year and are being encouraged to do so by Fremantle GP Network.
